Bella Union: Authentic Italian Pizza and Fine Wine in Jacksonville

Bella Union is a unique place with a funky atmosphere. The best place to sit in decent weather is the patio with its vine covered “secret garden “ feel. Furnishings are somewhat awkward with plastic chairs not so comfortable. But what the heck you’re outside and enjoying that feeling of being in a special place. Service was just right timely but not overbearing. The food OK but not something that one would want to urge their friends to rush over and try. The atmosphere was the draw here and the Jacksonville vibe was the evident feature. If any negative we both struggled with our salads in small deep bowls that were not too graceful from which to eat.

The Bella Union is such a killer spot to eat! We rolled in for their special oyster night and absolutely went to town on both the BBQ and raw oysters… zero regrets. So fresh and so good. As if that wasn’t enough, we lucked out and showed up on Arch Rock Brewing’s sample night too, so naturally we had to do some very serious beer research. Every pour was delicious. Good drinks, great food, live music, and an incredible atmosphere. Honestly, what more could you ask for… besides maybe elastic waist pants for oyster night?

Gorgeous contemporary Italian style restaurant with a stunning patio for dining. We had the Seafood Pesto Pasta special and it was fantastic! Service was great, atmosphere was beautiful and the food made us very happen. Happily recommend this place to anyone.

For the price Bella Union is awesome. Everything they have is good quality, the staff is quick, smart and friendly, my wife and I go often and it has been our hang out for years. And we love ja ksonville

We had an amazing visit here at bellas. The staff were very nice to us and the wisteria tree made the patio a truly magical place to be. The food was delicious, I got the soup and salad and the lemon vinaigrette was the best I have ever had. My partner got the meat balls and garlic knots and they were fantastic. We cannot wait till we get the chance to visit them again.

Bella Union is such a gem in Jacksonville! My meal was incredibly tasty, fresh, and full of flavor. The staff was welcoming, helpful, and made the whole experience even better. I especially loved the outdoor seating. the light, and vines overhead, and the cozy atmosphere made it feel peaceful and pleasant. It was the perfect place to unwind and enjoy a great meal.

Ciao Bella! 10/10 recommend! The Bella Union experience was delightful from the moment we walked in. It felt less like a random Wednesday dinner out and more like being treated as honored guests! The food was outstanding: fresh ingredients, full of flavor, and perfectly cooked. But it was Tyler, our server, who truly stole the show. His energy and enthusiasm were contagious. He was attentive without being intrusive, and his timing and attention to detail were spot-on. The moment we ordered low-carb entrées, he quickly whisked away the bread and boxed it up to bring home to our carb-loving daughter. This was the kind of meal you keep thinking about long after the plates are cleared. My only regret? We’ve lived in the neighboring town for four years and only just discovered this hidden gem. We’ll be back soon!

I looked at dining options in the Medford area and saw that this place was only 15 min away. A beautiful drive through valley vineyards. We were able to get a table in the cute back patio. The patio has heaters, so even if it’s not particularly warm out, it’s still comfortable out there. It was absolutely charming and pictures don’t do it justice. Fair pricing. Staff was really attentive and friendly. We had no wait or delay with being served or drinks refilled. We both had a pasta dish because pizza seemed heavy for the day-o-eating we already had. Immediate regrets. Other table’s pizzas looked fantastic. My pasta had fresh ingredients and taste was great. We are looking forward to returning to the back patio for pizza.
